预防兽医学博士，教授，博士生导师，国家重点研发计划首席专家，江苏省青蓝工程中青年学术带头人，江苏省家禽疫病防控工程技术中心主任。担任中国畜牧兽医学会人兽共患病学分会副理事长，中国畜牧兽医学会禽病分会副秘书长。主要从事兽医公共卫生、动物病原微生物的致病机理和免疫机理研究及新型疫苗研制。主持十三五国家重点研发计划等国家级项目11项，获省部级科技进步奖7项，国家级一流本科课程2门，国家级教学成果奖二等奖1项。申请国际专利1项，国家发明专利13项，获得发明专利7项。以第一作者或通讯作者在国内外杂志发表论文39篇，其中在Cell子刊《Cell Host& Microbe》和《Advanced Science》上发表高影响力论文2篇，合作作者发表论文160余篇。
